Because some of my web pages have Google ads on them, I am required to show this privacy policy (new Google AdSense Terms & Conditions).
When you visit one of my websites (listed above), you may be shown advertisements delivered through the Google AdSense network. In that case, a “cookie” is set on your computer. To paraphrase Google, third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on my websites.
Like many other Web sites, my sites makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. No personally identifiable information is collected by any of my websites. It’s not something I’d worry about.
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on my sites. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by the third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see.
I have no access to, or control over, these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out of certain practices. My privacy policy does not apply to, and I cannot control the activities of, other advertisers or web sites.
You can chose to disable or selectively turn off cookies in your browser settings. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites, including the inability to login to services or programs.
If you require any more information or have any questions about my privacy policy, please feel free to contact me by email.
